How do I enroll in the OnePoint Patient Care ERA/EFT programs?

To enroll for Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA), you must be a contracted OnePoint Patient Care partner pharmacy with the ability to receive 835 electronic remittance data files (or have a vendor with this capability).

If you meet these requirements, simply complete and return the ERA Request Form.

To enroll for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), you must be a contracted OnePoint Patient Care partner pharmacy and currently receiving 835 electronic remittance data files.

If you meet these requirements, simply complete and return the EFT Request Form.

Once enrolled, when will I receive my first ERA or EFT?

Once enrollment has been completed for either ERA or EFT, it will become active on the next financial cycle. Financial cycles are processed twice monthly.

Do I have to enroll in ERA if I want to receive EFT?

Yes. In order for EFT to function properly and to take full advantage of streamlined claims payment programs, we require you to enroll in ERA before you can receive EFT.

Can I receive a paper remittance as well as the ERA?

Not at this time. You need to choose either a paper copy or the electronic remittance file. However, the electronic remittance file can be viewed and printed from a number of different software programs.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provides free software called Medicare Remit Easy Print (MREP) that allows professional providers and suppliers to print and view the HIPAA compliant 835.
